Welcome to the official website of the Bogota Volunteer First Aid and Emergency Squad.   Our organization provides pre-hospital emergency medical care and transportation to the people of Bogota and surrounding communities through mutual aid agreements. Our headquarters is located in the Borough of Bogota, Bergen County, New Jersey, and is run strictly by volunteers since our inception in 1947.  We operate two state-of-the-art ambulances, equipped with the most up-to-date life saving equipment available.

The Bogota Volunteer First Aid Squad is dedicated to providing professional, quality basic life support and emergency medical care to those who require our services.  We are available 24 hours and day, without interruption, throughout the calendar year.  We pride ourselves on our response when help is needed.

At the Bogota Volunteer First Aid Squad, our members are all volunteers, and come from all walks of life.  You may already know some of our members, as we are your friends and neighbors. Most of our members are residents of the Borough of Bogota.  Currently there are about 47 active members of the squad.

Our members are trained to the highest standards for basic life support. Most of our members are certified New Jersey Emergency   Medical Technicians.

Some of our members are volunteer drivers, who have been trained, responsible operators or our two ambulances. All of our drivers are CPR certified, and have served as Emergency Medical Technicians in the past.  Other members are either probationary members, who are currently in training

Our organization is funded by the Borough of Bogota, and donations which we receive through the generosity of our neighbors.  All donations are strictly used to enhance our equipment, services, or provide for on-going training opportunities for our members.  Our members are all proud and dedicated volunteers.
