National Night Out was well attended by the residents of Bogota. The ambulance corps had a table and participated in an extrication drill along with the Bogota Fire Department and the Bogota Rescue Squad.  There were good comments about the drill made by most who attended. A special thanks to James Hoover's parents who helped man the table during the extrication event.

The squad participated in a "Driving Under the Influence" drill sponsored by BACSA. The drill was well received. Here is a comment from Councilperson Tito Jackson who is also a squad member:

I would like to take the opportunity to thank all of you who participated in making the DUI Drill a success.  It is a credit to Bogota and members of the first aid squad, you truly put on an impressive demonstration.  I have received many accolades from both inside and outside the state EMS circle who have said how professional all of you were and how smoothly the drill went.  It is something the squad and all of the emt's paramedics, fireman, police officers and members of BASCA can be proud of.

I would also like to take this time to wish all of you a Happy EMS week.  Again I thank all of you for your participation in making this a great success.  I have attached a link to some of the pictures I received and as soon as the video is compiled I will get a copy to all of you.
