When you've decided that you would like to become a member of our organization, the first step is to complete the application and return to one of our officers. The application can be found here. When you fill out the application, contact one of our officers who will arrange for an interview.
Once the time and date of your interview has been set, we will notify you of the time we are able to meet with you. You're interview will be conducted by our Membership Committee and/or one of our officers. Following your interview we will ask the Bogota Police Department to perform the required background check, and when you qualifications have been verified, your application will be scheduled to presentation to the Squad at our next monthly meeting.
When your application has been accepted by the general membership of the Squad, you will begin your probationary period and we will schedule you for upcoming training. You will be pr emitted to accompany members of the Squad on emergency calls, but purely in the role of an observer, until you have completed your training.

This time will also give us an opportunity to observe you and determine your qualification for full membership.
