2004
September 18, 2004 Linda Pelayo answered her final call. At the time of her death, Linda had been an active member, a life member and a past-captain (1992). During her service she responded to well over 1,000 calls. A general viewing for family and friends was held at Petrik's Funeral Home in Bogota on September 23 and 24. The Bogota First Aid Squad was present and provided an honor guard. A memorial service was held on Friday September 24 and led by Captain Tito Jackson. A mass held at St. Joseph's in Bogota was held on Saturday September 25 with the Bogota First Aid Squad serving as pall bearers. Linda was interred at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, New Jersey.

The Bogota First Aid Squad remembers the life and service of its members. The Year 2002 saw the passing of three members.
Rosemarie Mazurek
Ro was a past captain of the squad in 1987. She lost a long fight with cancer.
Robert Asmussen
Bob was a life member of the squad and also served as the Chief of the Bogota Fire Department.

Ray passed after a long fight with stomach cancer. He served previously as 1st and 2nd lieutenants. Here is pictured at the May 2001 Memorial Day Parade.
